Skito Saddle Pad - JJ Maxwell "Hope" pattern. This almost new pad was used on my clean horse one time for a walk around the property. There are no excessive wear marks on the fabric, just some dust from being in the tack room awhile. The top is a beautiful cordura fabric in navy blue with 2 black non-slip strips to keep your saddle from moving around, and 2 nylon billet straps to keep your latigos/billets in place, and black binding all around the edges for a neat appearance. The underside is 100% wool fleece at the top and quilted felt on the bottom. Skito calls this a "split bottom" to reduce bulk under your leg. The inserts are 3/4" open-cell foam. These foam inserts can be removed from a velcro opening along the spine.
I paid 3 for this pad (see pictures of my receipt). It was made to fit my JJ Maxwell Wood Post Wade saddle perfectly. This is what Skito calls their "Hope" saddle pattern.
The spine is contoured so it lays nicely on my horses back without any gaps.
The measurements are: Spine (front to back) 28", Drop at front (spine to bottom edge) 16", Drop at rear (spine to bottom edge) 10".
I have 2 other Skito pads just like this one so decided to sell one. I've used Skito pads for many years and my horse and I love them. The cordura fabric stays a deep color even after many washings and doesn't seem to fade in the sun. Will ship to
