This attractive farm /peasant girl is holding up her bunny proudly out of her basket of rabbits!
The rabbits are content in the farm girl's basket!  I painted this scene remembering an old painting I saw in upstate NY years ago,
of a girl holding up a bunny out of a basket, but I couldn't really remember the girl's  face, so I created this charming farm girl's face
and lovely expression as she proudly shows her bunnies to the viewer.   I tried to remember the setting in the old painting I saw,
and here is my version!

Sennelier honey binder watercolors- the MOST expensive- combined with air brush techniques highlighted with Sennelier oil pastels
and brings this painting to life! Sennelier are the BEST oil pastels, period;  their range is the largest.
This thin,  basic art paper is smooth and great for watercolor, oil pastel and airbrush which I love.
It does rip easily, so ginger handling is a must.....

Beautiful AMERICAN themes and values, including love and respect for animals, NY state rural landscapes and its attributes, children in genre scenes is my forte. In fact, one of
my goals with my paintings,  after I am established here on Ebay,  is to make enough as a salary AND to donate large amounts to dedicated animal sanctuaries here in NY state and
wild animal sanctuaries in  PA.  Animals need our help as they cannot speak for themselves..... please help me reach this goal.  When I am at a point to do so, you will see the
