    Description

The sale of American-made and English-export pewter from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Jenckes at Christie's, NY on 11 April 1981 was one of the most important, offering 191 lots of an exceptional range of wares from simple duck-&-hen measures through the important cover lot teapot marked by William Will.   The Jenckes collection held an extremely fine assortment of American plates, mugs and tankards, especially by New York and Philadelphia makers.  Very good condition, with selling prices inked in.   Each lot pictured.
