6" Resin Melody Brite BJD Art Doll Judy Porter UFDC Starstruck Nashville Ltd Ed

6.5-inch resin or vinyl ball-jointed doll (BJD), "Melody Brite" beautifully
sculpted
by American doll artist, Judy D. Porter, for the UFDC Starstruck Convention in Nashville, TN, from 2019.
She was created for the "Shooting for the Stars" Judy Porter luncheon and only a Limited Edition of 60 were created. She has been displayed in an enclosed doll case away from heat and sun and has never been undressed or played with.
Melody Brite is ball-jointed and can bend and pose. She looks cute sitting in a chair or on an acrylic riser as I used in the photo (not included). She was created specially for a UFDC luncheon in Nashville in 2019 so only 60 were produced. I am not sure if she is made from vinyl or resin as her box does not state what material she is made from. I checked the Judy Porter website; it appears that she works mostly in resin.
Head:
Fixed bright blue eyes with real upper lashes and painted lower lashes, multi-stroke eyebrows, blushed cheeks and pink lip color. Melody comes with a blonde curly wig that is not glued on (in case collector wishes to change wigs).
Body:
Her ball-jointed body can flex and pose at head, arms, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles.
Clothing:
She was dressed for the Starstruck theme at Nashville as a tiny little cowgirl with her Nashville guitar. Her navy dress has colorful stars all over the print and snaps in back with red ric-rac trim at the hem. She has red tulle attached as a slip gathered at waist, red panties and red leatherette cowboy boots and a red cowboy hat.
Melody Brite has her original Shooting for the Stars box and a certificate stating only 60 were made.
