AWESOME Original CA blue plate Javelin SST Very Nice condition all around. Totally rust free and restored with factory V8 and auto trans. I'm a serious collector. I bought this car here on ebay and while the car is very nice with much to like, it was not quite as described and I've done quite a bit to bring it up to snuff. I've done the heavy / expensive lifting... It is now a great running, reliable daily driver with much more potential... could be a next level show car with not much work. I have several cars in restoration and for sale and am offering this below market to make space... if other cars sell first I'll finish and keep it or sell much higher. No records came with the car and I'm not sure I got the proper story on it so I'll tell you what I was told and can see. It sat for at least 3 years. I had a major service performed... motor ,trans, electrical, brakes, etc. I also have some new parts yet to install, shocks and suspension primarily. It starts and runs great... motor has full compression and excellent oil pressure. I was told numbers matching and motor looks to have been rebuilt... new intake, carb , exhaust. factory AC car with compressor removed. Power steering with manual brakes... they stop well. Overall presentation including paint and interior is great but its not a trailer queen... its a daily driveable period muscle car that will hold its own at local shows... Can be serious show car with a little work.
Overall in great condition all around. Excellent reliable runner/driver.  This little Rod would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is really nice... Super straight and Rust Free.
Frame, floors, and chassis are solid and clean...  P
aint is very good driver quality... it presents beautifully with only minor blemishes... trim is well in tact...rubbers and seals are good. lights signals etc all working properly.
The interior is super clean as well...   panels, carpet and trim all look good. It had after market front seats with the originals included I installed the original drivers andhave the other ready to go. Factory AC car with everything except compressor... has aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, tach, temp... after market stereo.
V8 motor (304 I think) starts idles and runs great...  said to be matching numbers and looks/feels to be rebuilt... has good power and sounds great. trans
shifts smooth through the gears!! Rear end gearing is perfect for all conditions...
Suspension is partially redone but could use bushings which I have, not yet installed and shocks... ride is decent as is and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a really nice rust free AMC hot rod. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage car at a great price.
