    Description

    This July 21, 1947 letter, typed on the letterhead stationery of
    GOOD HOPE MINES, INC
    . of Boise, Idaho, with an image of the Nevada mining area at the top, was sent to a potential investor.  The letter states that due to a recent ruling by the S.E.C., states, previously closed to the company, may re-enter the market (all but New York) and receive their literature. The vintage letter, with a statement by  the Securities and Exchange Commission printed at the bottom, and showing some wrinkling and a bit of discoloring from age and storage, will make an interesting addition to any collection.
