    Description

1922 -Silver Peace Dollar - Lot of 4 - Philadelphia
Lot of 4 Silver Peace Dollars from 1922, one of the last years a silver dollar coin was struck with 90%  silver. As a group, they are in really nice condition with some minor scratches, high/low spots but overall they still have spots of luster and all major features and wording are legible.  In raw uncertified condition and a super set of coins to add to any collection.
The Peace Dollar was minted from 1921-1928 and again in 1934 and 1935. The coin was a result of a competition to find designs emblematic of peace. Its obverse (front) represents the head and neck of the Goddess Of Liberty in profile. The reverse depicts a bald eagle clutching an olive branch, with the legend "Peace". It was the last United States Dollar coin to be struck for circulation in 90% silver.
